Arts are part of the core curriculum at Generations Christian Academy. From Pre-K 1-4 and on up to Kindergarten through Grade 12, our students have many opportunities to explore their creative process, embrace imagination, and cultivate an appreciation for fine arts, entrepreneurship.
GCA athletics promotes teamwork, discipline, and Christlike sportsmanship, encouraging students to compete with excellence while honoring God both on and off the field.
Each member of the Generations Christian Academy community makes valuable contributions to our school’s core values and culture. As a community, our combined partnerships help create an exceptional experience for our students.
Middle schoolers are developing leaps and bounds mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually. Our Upper School faculty and staff love connecting with middle schoolers, to support them, as they are exploring new realms of interests. They have challenging middle school curriculum in their core classes, start to develop deeper understandings of scripture in their daily Bible class, and are introduced to Apologetics, which is a highly-valued class for all our Upper School students.
Our middle schoolers are also given strategic electives, where they explore Family and Consumer Sciences, Physical Education, Culinary, Keyboarding, Tech, and Entrepreneurship. Students also continue to develop academic and social growth as they work with more in depth STEAM projects and life skills classes, where we bring real-world applications and lessons into the classroom.
The GCA students in the High School program builds on the sound spiritual and academic foundations laid through the lower and middle programs of the school. They will also have opportunities for work-study programs and internships in the community and through the ministry of Generations.
Instructional emphasis continues in their core classes of Bible, English, Science, Math, and History, while also entering into new, strategic and deeper learning experience that include a foreign language, computer science, further technology integration, health & wellness, and continued learning in our entrepreneurship and apologetics classes.
The students have opportunities to chart their course for their career path, and have options for electives in SAT/ACT prep, college and career days, and missions and service opportunities within the community.
Our college and career prep counseling program helps students take full advantage of the many opportunities offered to them in order to assist parents and students to best navigate the college search process or trade school and career options.
Dual Enrollment and Work-Study/Internship programs hallmark the junior and senior years as the students become more aware of what their future may include as options for their destiny and vision of what God has prepared for them to do. Our motto at Generations since the school’s inception is that each student has a destiny, and they can discover who they are to serve and what problem they can solve to create world-changing ideas and economic solutions for their community and future.
Building relationships with students and families is a hallmark of Generations Christian Academy. We intentionally partner with parents and students to explore their gifts, passions, and calling—counseling them through the important decisions of life after high school. We are committed to consistency and intentionality in all we do and teach, while providing a safe and supportive environment where students can remain focused on who God has called them to be.
By graduation, every student will have a strong sense of identity in Christ and confidence in their next steps—whether college, ministry, or entrepreneurship. Equipped to pursue excellence in all God has called them to, they will leave anchored in Christ, authentic in faith, and aligned in purpose.
