Arts are part of the core curriculum at Generations Christian Academy. From Pre-K 1-4 and on up to Kindergarten through Grade 12, our students have many opportunities to explore their creative process, embrace imagination, and cultivate an appreciation for fine arts, entrepreneurship.
GCA athletics promotes teamwork, discipline, and Christlike sportsmanship, encouraging students to compete with excellence while honoring God both on and off the field.
Each member of the Generations Christian Academy community makes valuable contributions to our school’s core values and culture. As a community, our combined partnerships help create an exceptional experience for our students.
In our Kindergarten through 3rd grade classes, we focus on building a strong foundation for each child by developing essential skills in reading, writing, and math, along with introducing science, social studies, and age-appropriate technology. Daily Bible instruction and weekly chapels are central to our classrooms and school environment, helping students grow in their understanding of God’s truth while shaping their character. With intentional class sizes, averaging 16 to 1, we are able to cultivate an atmosphere of connection and guidance for each and every child.
Each week, students also participate in art, music, physical education, and technology, giving them opportunities to explore creativity, movement, and new skills. We intentionally nurture social and emotional growth during these early years, helping students learn how to build relationships, communicate well, and grow in confidence. In addition, students have opportunities to engage in extracurricular activities, including athletics, STEAM experiences, and writing workshops, allowing them to discover interests and develop a love for learning.
Our 4th and 5th grade students enter what we call the “pre-middle school” years—a pivotal season where they begin building upon the strong academic foundations established in elementary school. During this time, students continue to grow in their core subjects, Bible, weekly chapels, and STEAM classes, all while also developing more independence, responsibility, and confidence. These years are especially important as students mature spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally, preparing them for the transition into middle school. Our intentional class sizes continue to allow us to keep stewarding an atmosphere that focuses on each child’s gifts and academic growth.
Students also have the opportunity to participate in Entrepreneurship class, our annual GCA Marketplace elective, and the GCA Science Fair competition. These experiences provide meaningful, hands-on learning that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and innovation. Through project-based opportunities, students are able to explore their interests, apply what they are learning in real-world ways, and begin developing skills that will serve them well both inside and outside the classroom, setting them up for middle school success and beyond!
