Arts are part of the core curriculum at Generations Christian Academy. From Pre-K 1-4 and on up to Kindergarten through Grade 12, our students have many opportunities to explore their creative process, embrace imagination, and cultivate an appreciation for fine arts, entrepreneurship.
GCA athletics promotes teamwork, discipline, and Christlike sportsmanship, encouraging students to compete with excellence while honoring God both on and off the field.
Each member of the Generations Christian Academy community makes valuable contributions to our school’s core values and culture. As a community, our combined partnerships help create an exceptional experience for our students.
Our theater and speech classes introduce students to the skills necessary for effectively communicating in any setting—including the dramatic arts. Students will have the opportunity to explore the technical and creative sides of theater as well as learn the fundamentals of public speaking.
There are opportunities each semester for students to participate in Chapel presentations, All-School Drama & Musicals, worship teams, and class presentations.
Our drama and theater program exists to help students develop and use their God-given creativity to communicate truth, tell meaningful stories, and reflect God’s character. Because we are made in the image of a creative God, students are given opportunities through acting, performance, and storytelling to grow in confidence the art of communication. Theater teaches discipline, teamwork, and perseverance as students work together toward a shared production. This gives students a chance to learn how to support one another and pursue excellence, in all they do. It also allows students to explore themes of truth, redemption, and character in a way that is both engaging and impactful. Through drama, at GCA, students not only build practical skills but also discover how their voices and gifts can be used to honor God and influence others, all for His glory!
Public Speaking is a high-valued part of each school year, at Generations. Teaching students how to speak in front of others, in crowds big or small, is an important part of helping them grow into the confident, thoughtful communicators that God designed them to be! We want each student to understand how important it is to practice speaking with clarity and courage. From a biblical perspective, we know that words carry great power and throughout Scripture God uses ordinary people to speak His truth boldly—whether in conversation, teaching, or proclamation. By learning public speaking, students develop these traits and the ability to organize and express their thoughts in a way that honors God and serves others. It also prepares them to articulate and defend their faith with gentleness and respect, equipping them to be effective witnesses in whatever path God calls them to.
