Arts are part of the core curriculum at Generations Christian Academy. From Pre-K 1-4 and on up to Kindergarten through Grade 12, our students have many opportunities to explore their creative process, embrace imagination, and cultivate an appreciation for fine arts, entrepreneurship.
GCA athletics promotes teamwork, discipline, and Christlike sportsmanship, encouraging students to compete with excellence while honoring God both on and off the field.
Each member of the Generations Christian Academy community makes valuable contributions to our school’s core values and culture. As a community, our combined partnerships help create an exceptional experience for our students.
Generations has many gifted and talented faculty and instructors in the field of instrumental music. We offer private music lesson options, for after school, all throughout the year and summer. If your child is looking to use their gifts and musical talents further, we encourage the students to audition and practice their instruments in order to grow in leading others and be a part of the student Praise and Worship team. In this way they can serve and use their gifts to give Him glory and lead others into a meaningful worship experience.
Intro to Guitar provides students with a foundational understanding of music through hands-on learning. Students will develop basic skills such as chords, rhythm, and simple song progression in an encouraging and engaging environment. This gives students an opportunity to build confidence, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for music while improving skills they can continue to grow in throughout their life.
Intro to Piano gives students a strong musical foundation while encouraging creativity and confidence on the keys. Students learn basic music theory, rhythm, and technique as they begin to read and play music with skill and expression. Through consistent practice and guided instruction, they develop discipline and perseverance—qualities that extend beyond the classroom. Rooted in a Christ-centered environment, this course also invites students to use their musical gifts as a form of worship and praise. Whether your student is just learning or has never had any formal piano lessons we want to help each child grow, we would love to help them continue their musical giftings.
Our Praise and Worship Team gives students the opportunity to use their musical gifts to lead others into authentic, Christ-centered worship. Students will develop skills in vocals and/or instruments while learning the heart behind worship—learning how to serve with humility, unity, and purpose. Through rehearsals, chapels, and special events, students grow in both musical excellence and spiritual maturity as they help create an atmosphere where others can encounter God.
